When winter is approaching, , summer with high temperature now seems to be a distance memory , but it didn‘t discourage the brave arty folks in my home town , Eindhoven , more popular by its nickname , the Lightning City , the most pouplar city in Europe for the International event called Dutch Design week in October and Glow in early November.
Both event always fully booked and lots of people from all over Europe came down to check the event out, I kinda proud of both events.
Tonight , i played a guide , showed my American friend some of the light festivals in the town.
Sunflower , one of my fave flower .
I always joke around and tell people we do have a UFO space station here in Eindhoven , the aliens left it behind , we call it Evoluon https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evoluon
One of my fave square , Wilhelmina plein , the signature weed smell will make you happy and merry, plenty of dodgy and hipster cafes around , i Love it !
This year even the Mosque taking time to create some of beautiful lights show , determined to show the world we can practice our religion in harmony , without any hate to each other , thats one of the reason i am proud to be a Dutchie and proud of my country.
Philips, again showed they are the jedi master of light , this time with their light symphony a beatiful 5 minutes of lighting shows.
I found the space shuttle of the guardain of the galaxy , in Eindhoven 🤣
With full moon up in the sky , i got a star wars feeling .
Dont you feel like you are about to entering the haunted church ? You see the irony ?
Such an innovation and creative finding to enjoy a cold autum night watching the light show on a swing sipping a hot beverage , life is good in Eindhoven.
Walking trough the path guided by music and dancing thousands of colourful light we slowly walked towards the end of our glow adventure , i hope you enjoy a bit of this glow evening walk and maybe y‘all can make it here next year ....
