From a spring day in the winter, to cold snowy morning, hello climate change, who are we kidding?

I’ll be honest, I never really worried much about climate change at first. I thought Greta was a bit too harsh, you know? But the more I thought about it, she might have had a point! It’s easy to get caught up in the daily routine—multiple cars, gadgets everywhere, and traffic jams just becoming part of life. We all kind of took things for granted.

Then Greta came along, angrily calling us out, and I couldn’t help but think maybe it was the wake-up call we needed. I mean, yeah, maybe the way she said it wasn’t perfect, but sometimes, maybe we need to hear things that way. After all, we’ve worked hard for what we have, right? So, we feel like we can do whatever we please.

But after some time, I started noticing all the changes around me—wild weather shifts and strange seasons. A mild winter, snow in spring, heatwaves, and storms every weekend. It really made me stop and think: How can I do my part to help? Do I really need all those gadgets? Should I leave the lights on all night? I started biking more and using public transport (which, by the way, is super eco-friendly!). It’s not perfect, but it feels like a step in the right direction.

Of course, plastic is still a challenge—stores don’t love when I try to avoid it, but I try to reuse what I can, bring my own bag, and use a reusable water bottle. Every little bit helps, right?

I’m not too excited for summer after last year’s heatwave—40°C and dry as a desert—but I’m grateful that, for now, we still have a decent environment. But if we don’t start making changes, I’m honestly worried about what kind of world we’re leaving for the next generation. They deserve a planet they can enjoy, too, don’t you think?

Sending positive vibes from stormy February!
