No.. i didn’t take the cheap bus or train , takes too long , i asked the flying Irishman if he can drop me :) and of course included my soy latte macchiato from Starbuck ( sorry Pattie), and yes Starbuck still failed to get my name right 🙄🙄
I am lucky to live near airport hub with lots of connection to all over Europe, and Africa ( Morocco in Africa right ? 🤔) , really bad for my wallet but hey , you only live once 😍, since i am celebrating the good news, a fest meals will be appropriated, i reckon ?
Vienna wellknown with their Snitzel ( chicken or pork fillet , parma ) and Sachertorte ( chocolate tart) ... oh dear Lord , i will have food coma for sure .
My morning starting with taking the subway to schloss schönbrunn, the famous castle from Queen Sissy...
i love Sissy de Keizerin , the young Elizabeth fell in love to young prince Franz Josef , married when she was 16 years old and stood by her man as the queen of Austria and Hungary, i love the love story , her fight against anorexia, disapproval from her mother in law,her love to the folks and as humble as she is, her love to the mountain, every Chridtmas we watch the movie about her life after Christmas brekky.
The amazing palace Franz built to his bride never failed to make me happy , inside you will see how much he respected and loved his wife, he worshipped her, but he also cheated on her multiply times .. really sad , Sussy struggled to maintain her beauty and her husband still looking for some fun elsewhere...
Moving forward to Hofburg , i really love this place , now use as presidential and parlement offices, so huge and amazing and beautiful...
I walked to Karlkirche . Widely considered the most outstanding baroque church in Vienna, as well as one of the city's greatest buildings, the church is dedicated to Saint Charles Borromeo, one of the great counter-reformers of the sixteenth century, i cant help to make a picture of myself with the church, sorry folks ...
I decided to visit one of the most famous church in Vienna , Stephandom , The most important religious building in Vienna, St. Stephen's Cathedral has borne witness to many important events in Habsburg and Austrian history and has, with its multi-coloured tile roof, become one of the city's most recognizable symbols.
Well , i have done my morning walk , time for a cup of tea and the amazing Stephanstarte at the modt beautiful and wellknown Hass and Hass tearoom ... i feel like a princess already but my wallet cried .
Well to burn the cake calories,i wandered at Sigmund Freud Park , i wish i could have a chat with him , would be amazing ....
A duck walk away, i made my way to Rathuis, unfortunatelly the anazing city hall under renovation ,during Christmas time, this place will be really crowded with the ice skaters ...
Well ,the sky started to get darker and darker , i thought it would be safe to go to Slot Beveldere ..The Belvedere was built during a period of extensive construction in Vienna, which at the time was both the imperial capital and home to the ruling Habsburg dynasty. This period of prosperity followed on from the commander-in-chief Prince Eugene of Savoy's successful conclusion of a series of wars against the Ottoman Empire.
All of sudden it rains really hard like the heaben was crying with happiness seeing me again 🤣....
On my way back to Karlplatz i bumped to this beautifull place i totally have no clue the whTs the name of it .. 🙄
I doubted either to take snitzels or just go to Hard Rock Cafe for some cocktails and bites , since i have gotten lots of meat last night , i opted for BLT and cocktails ... yum
Note to self : never mixed your drinks !!!
Totally wasted from the cocktails and the medicines , i continued my night in an StrayaN Pub 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 holy canolly , i must be really drunken ...
