When you were in the mood for a home made Indonesian meal and you are too lazy and too sick to go outside, after spending the whole morning and arvo in hosp , and you been fasting from after lunch a day before , your only choice will be deliveroo or asked father Google for help.
i opted fir the later as i am not in the mood to open the door for stranger, so with full of confidence , I prayed i got something eatable in my fridge.
At the back of my head, with all my respect to Gizmo , Silly and Cookies, i will not making something with meat, its Dieren Dag ( national animal’s day ( trust me , i googled the English word for it ) .
So my choices narrowed down to, fermented soybeans ( tempeh), eggs ( is this counted as animal) or fish ( fish not animal right?) and green veggie , i dont even remember i have it.
Father google taught me to marinated and cook the soybean , tempeh Kriuk , crispy tempeh ? Ikan Balado, fish with chilli?and sauted green veggie, to be honest it tasted better than the one i got from Indonesian restaurant around the corner, and much more healthier as i dont use any added E numbers .

All of these only took me 30 minutes to make , i kinda proud of myself as cooking really not my hobby, i would rather hungry than make something like that before , damn whats wrong with me ?
To make it more scarier, i decided to make a home made tape ( fermented casava) cake For dessert
7 eggs, 200 grams flour, 200 gram raw cane sugar, 250 grams melted butter, a tiny tea spoon cake emulsifier and fermented sweet cassava, the end result a bit burn as i forgot to check the cake too busy watched Netflix🥺
The cake came out moist and tasty .... but my next problem will be what do i have to do with the left over? I never ate something twice in a row and i hate left over ... damn , next time i have the needs to be a domestic goddess again i will invite some friends to help me eating all those food.
